HDH Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami

 

Madhavpriyadasji is the disciple saint of the spiritual Master Sadguru Shastri Shree Dharmajivandasji, the founder of Swaminarayan Gurukul Rajkot, India.

Upon completion of his high school studies in 1968 at the Gurukul Rajkot, Swamiji attended Sampurnanand Sanskrit University where, in 1977, he received the Master's degree of Vedantacharya with three gold medals, a rare feat. In 1974, he also received two gold medals for Sankhya Yoga and Vedanta in the All India Competition held at Tirupati. Swamiji has been awarded numerous gold and silver medals in various Sanskrit National & State elocutions.

Swamiji received a Vidwat Bhushan Padvi from the renowned Academy of Sanskrit Research at Melkot, Karnataka. He was conferred the 'Devarshi' award by the Sandipani Vidyaniketan whose Chancellor is Honourable Shree Rameshbhai Oza, the famous Srimad Bhagwat Saptah orator.

Swamiji carries out huge social supporting work for the needy. Its classic example is constructing over 500 check dams to resolve the water scarcity problem in Gujarat. He has also built schools in the earthquake affected, little known villages of Kachha-Gujarat.

Madhavpriyadasji has broadly traveled the world for religious discourses. He has been speaker to world level conferences like UN religion assembly, Hindu jewish summit, Hindu Mahasabha etc.
